What bamboo actually does
What sets bamboo viscose apart is the shape of the fibre. It is smooth and closed, where cotton is open and slightly hairy, and that is why bamboo feels cool when you first lie down and dries faster afterwards. It also gives dust mites less to hold on to. Our yarn carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for what touches your skin, alongside ECOCERT and Organic 100 for how the bamboo itself is grown.

Returns
You can return your order within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and with the labels still attached. A DHL return label costs €8.50 including VAT from the Netherlands and €10.50 from Belgium, and is not deducted from your refund. The refund follows once we have received the return. What exactly is in the set?

Will my bamboo bedding shrink?
A small shrinkage of 2–3% on the first wash is normal for natural fibres. Our sizes allow for it, so the fit stays right.
Is bamboo bedding suitable for sensitive skin and allergies?
Yes. The fibre is smooth and closed, which gives dust mites little to settle into and causes less friction against skin than cotton.
How should I wash it?
At 30°C on a delicate cycle, without fabric softener. Washing weekly at a low temperature does more for freshness than washing hot.
Is this really 100% organic bamboo?
Yes. Our Premium range is 100% organic bamboo viscose, certified by ECOCERT and Organic 100, with no cotton or polyester blended in.

The difference is how the foot end of the cover is finished. A button closure has flat bamboo buttons and the cover lies loosely on top of the bed. A tuck-in strip is an extra panel of fabric at the foot end that you tuck under the mattress, so the duvet stays put and your feet stay out of the draught. Yes, immediately after ordering you'll receive an email with order number, order details and total. Save this for your records. You can also see your order in your customer account (if you ordered as a registered user).
Return shipping is at the customer's expense, unless the product arrives defective — in which case we cover the return cost. This is a deliberate choice: if we offered free returns across the board, the cost would be built into our product prices. That would mean the large majority of customers who keep their order would be subsidising returns by a small group. We'd rather keep our prices fair for the people who actually keep their bedding.
Our sizes are European and given in centimetres. A UK single (90 x 190 cm) takes our 90 x 200 cm fitted sheet, a UK double (135 x 190 cm) our 140 x 200 cm, a UK king (150 x 200 cm) our 160 x 200 cm and a UK super king (180 x 200 cm) our 180 x 200 cm. No, the pillow is sold without a pillowcase. Our bamboo pillowcases come in matching sizes, 50 x 75 cm and 60 x 70 cm, and are sold as a pair. Any standard pillowcase in the same size fits as well.
