DEEP MOSS

A deep, grounded green that reads contemplative — never military, never bottle. Deep Moss sits between forest floor and dark slate: rich enough to anchor a room, alive enough to feel like nature rather than paint.

BUILD YOUR DEEP MOSS SET

The dark green that breathes

Most dark greens in bedding fall into one of two traps: too military and flat, the kind that reads uniform — or too saturated and theatrical, the emerald green that demands a styled room around it. Deep Moss avoids both. Deep, but with enough warm undertone to stay calm and inviting.

It's the dark counterpart to Sage Green in the palette. Where Sage works as a neutral, Deep Moss works as an anchor — the colour you reach for when you want the bed to ground the entire room rather than blend in. One of our newer shades and steadily growing.

COMBINE WITH OTHER COLOURS

Coco White — the high-contrast pairing. Crisp white sheets under a Deep Moss duvet cover. Hotel-quiet with a forest accent.

Sage Green — tonal green. Sage as the light layer, Deep Moss as the anchor. The bed reads grounded and considered — depth in one family.

Coffee Brown — forest-floor autumn. Deep Moss as the base, Coffee Brown as the warmth. Best in autumn-leaning bedrooms with natural materials and warm lighting. One of the strongest combinations in this palette.

Soft Taupe — earth-tonal. Soft Taupe softens Deep Moss, stops it reading too heavy. Quietly grown-up.

Where Deep Moss lands well

Biophilic-deep — Plants, natural wood, soft warm light, raw textures. Deep Moss on the bed echoes everything green and living in the room rather than competing with it.

Library-quiet bedrooms — Dark walls, shelves of books, warm lamplight, leather. Deep Moss layers into that palette as bedding rather than fighting it. A bedroom that reads contemplative.

Cabin-modern — Warm wood, brass, low warm lighting. With Coffee Brown layered in, the bed becomes the warm centre of the room.

Statement minimalism — Off-white walls, minimal decor, one strong colour. Deep Moss does the entire visual job, like Space Blue would but in a warmer-toned register.

It struggles in: bright pastel bedrooms or stark cool-grey minimalist where Deep Moss reads heavy and out of place. Sky Blue, Coco White or Cuddle Pink anchor those rooms better.

Care and certifications

Wash at 30 °C with similar colours. Skip fabric softener — it coats the bamboo fibre and reduces breathability. Tumble dry on low or line dry. Bamboo softens with every wash.

Deep Moss holds its tone well: the bamboo fibre is naturally dye-stable, and our low-impact dye process bonds thoroughly. Dark shades like Deep Moss can show slightly more colour-shift over time than lighter shades, but the change is gradual and even — expect it to look the same in five years as it does in five months.

All Deep Moss bedding is independently certified:

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 — tested for harmful substances
  • ECOCERT — organic raw material
  • Organic 100 Content Standard — verified organic content

COMBINE WITH OTHER COLOURS

How much water does bamboo save versus cotton?

Bamboo needs about a third less water than cotton – some studies show up to 90% water savings. Bamboo also grows without artificial irrigation and pesticides. A significant contribution to global water conservation.

Does bamboo prevent mould in textiles?

Yes, bamboo has natural antimicrobial properties that inhibit mould. Combined with fast moisture wicking this delivers a hygienic sleep climate – even in damp rooms or climates.

How do I store bamboo bedding optimally?

Store your bamboo bedding in a dry, airy spot – ideally in a fabric bag or breathable box. Avoid plastic bags as they trap moisture. This keeps your bedding fresh and mould-free.

How long does bamboo bedding stay fresh?

Thanks to the antibacterial properties, bamboo bedding stays fresh longer than cotton. Typically you can use bamboo bedding for 2 weeks before it needs washing – pillowcases should be changed more often.

How quickly does bamboo bedding dry?

Bamboo fibres absorb a lot of moisture but also release it quickly. Air-drying typically takes 4–6 hours with good ventilation – considerably faster in a low-temperature tumble dryer.
