A good night's sleep starts with the right bedding. For a single bed, bamboo offers a combination of comfort, durability and style that is hard to match. Whether the bed belongs to a child, a teenager or an adult, the same fabric works for all of them.
One note on naming: what is called a single bed in the UK is usually sold as a twin in the US. We list everything in centimetres, so the bedding size guide is the quickest way to check which size fits your mattress.
Clean bedding is the basis of a healthy sleeping environment, and in a single bed comfort and hygiene carry even more weight. Changing your bedding regularly keeps dust, sweat and skin cells from building up, which matters most for anyone with allergies or reactive skin.
Bamboo makes that easier. The fibre wicks moisture away quickly and is naturally antibacterial, so the fabric dries between nights instead of staying damp. A weekly wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle is enough — no hot wash needed.
Our bedding is made to European measurements. Here is how the names line up:
If your mattress is longer than standard, we also make 80 x 210, 80 x 220, 90 x 210 and 90 x 220 cm. All fitted sheets have a 35 cm pocket, so a thicker mattress or a mattress protector is no problem. The full overview is in our bedding size guide.
Duvet covers for a single bed measure 140 x 200 cm, or 140 x 220 cm if you prefer extra length. That works for a UK single duvet as well as a US twin comforter.

Everything comes in nine colours, from the timeless Coco White to the warmer Soft Taupe and the deeper Deep Moss. See them all on the colours page.
We set bamboo and cotton out side by side, including where cotton still wins, on bamboo vs cotton bedding.
Think about how you actually sleep. If you run warm, a summer duvet with a lighter filling makes more difference than a thinner sheet. If you feel the cold, take the winter filling and keep the same bamboo cover — the fibre regulates either way. There is more on temperature-regulating bamboo bedding.
For a child's room, the smaller pillowcases and the children's duvet covers in 100 x 140 and 70 x 100 cm keep everything in proportion. And for a guest room, a full set in one colour is the simplest way to make it look considered.
For a UK single bed (90 x 190 cm) choose our 90 x 200 cm fitted sheet, and for a UK small single (75 x 190 cm) the 80 x 200 cm. A single duvet takes a 140 x 200 cm duvet cover, or 140 x 220 cm if you prefer extra length. For a standard UK pillow, choose 50 x 75 cm pillowcases.
Yes, bamboo bedding works well in children's rooms. It is soft and smooth on young skin, keeps warm and restless sleepers drier, and the fabric is tested for harmful substances under OEKO-TEX Standard 100. It washes at 30°C, so you can wash it as often as children need.
Our children's fitted sheets come in many sizes, from 40 x 80 cm for a crib to 60 x 120 cm for a cot and 70 x 140 cm for a cot bed, and the standard single sizes fit older children's beds. Children's duvet covers come in 70 x 100 and 100 x 140 cm, children's duvets in 70 x 100, 100 x 140 and 120 x 150 cm, and children's pillowcases in 40 x 60 and 50 x 60 cm. Measure the mattress before you order, as children's beds vary a lot.
A complete single or double bedding set in one colour is the easiest choice: a fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases that match. Neutral colours such as Coco White or Soft Taupe suit every guest. Bamboo also suits guests with allergies, as our duvets and pillows contain no down or feathers.
Coco White and Soft Taupe suit any single bedroom, from a guest room to a teenager's room. For a child's room, Sky Blue, Cuddle Pink, Lavender Mist or Sage Green add a soft splash of colour, while Deep Moss and Space Blue give a calmer, deeper look. All nine colours are on our colours page.
