New in our range: cooling bamboo sheets for restful summer nights

Our newest range: bamboo sheets engineered specifically for heat. The why, the what, and how they're different.

Most bamboo bedding is good in summer. We've taken it further. Our new cooling range is designed specifically for the hottest nights — not as an alternative to year-round bedding, but as a dedicated summer upgrade for people who get hot at night, live in warmer climates, or simply want the best possible sleep through July and August.

Why we made a separate range

Our standard bamboo bedding is designed to be a year-round all-rounder — comfortable in winter, breathable in summer, gentle on skin in every season. But customers who run hot at night, who live in flats with afternoon sun, or who travel a lot to warmer climates kept asking for something more focused. Cooling bamboo is the answer: bedding optimised for one job, with no winter compromises in the way.

What's different about it

Three deliberate changes from our standard range:

  • Lighter weight: a finer thread that lets more air through and feels lighter against the skin
  • Smoother weave: minimises trapped warm air at the fabric surface
  • Specific colour palette: lighter shades that physically reflect more heat and visually cool the bedroom

What stays the same: 100% organic bamboo, the same OEKO-TEX certifications, the same skin-friendly properties.

What it feels like

The first thing you notice: it's noticeably cooler to the touch than standard bedding. Slide in on a warm evening and there's an instant temperature drop — not chilly, but definitely cool. Through the night, the lighter weight and smoother weave keep heat from building up. People who normally wake up at 3am hot tend not to.

Who it's for

  • Anyone who runs hot at night, regardless of season
  • People going through menopause with night sweats
  • Couples where one person heats up and the other doesn't (everyone benefits)
  • Living in flats with significant afternoon sun
  • Anyone who travels frequently to warmer climates

What to pair it with

For the full summer effect: pair the cooling sheets with a bamboo summer duvet, and keep your bedroom temperature at 16–19°C if you can. Skip the heavy throws and decorative cushions — they hold heat. Less is more in July.
